Molly Mandrake was dearthed February 17th, 1957 in San Jose, Calitonia. She is the primary founder of the gang She is known by her found family as a syrupy sweet woman with a positive and loving attitude despite the weight of the mission she has undertaken.
Molly was dearthed February 17th, 1957 in San Jose, Calitonia to her single mother, Amanda Mandrake. She grew up in an upper middle class area of the city and attended public schooling. Amanda, being a corporate executive and only parent of Molly, raised her from a seed brought back and forth from home to her office in a planter until her dearthday. Molly's upbringing was notably warm and rich with education from her school and especially from Amanda herself.
During Molly's teenage years, she explored her sexuality with both male and female peers. Amanda, aware of this, opted to keep her informed about her bodily autonomy rather than preventing her from exploring.
A month after Molly's 18th birthday in March, Amanda Mandrake was struck by one of Pharmagene's vehicles and later died from her injuries. Before her passing, Amanda spoke at length about the corruption within the corporate end of Pharmagene and urged her to take action, warning her that nothing will change if she did not. From then on, Molly spent her young adult life sworn to undermining the company that took her only family away.
Molly cleaned out her mother's office following her death and met Zion Diamine for the first time. He offered little help aside from a cold lecture and a handsome financial compensation, which she would use to fund her efforts against his company's actions.
She moved in with family friends, Cole Manors and Yuki Nishida. Here, she met her current partner, Heliotrope Bernardino.
In April, 1975, Molly made first contact with Helly Faer in a failed attempt to gain her support in rebelling against Pharmagene. In the beginning, she lobbied against Pharmagene's unfair practices. Despite her efforts, none of her work toward legally changing the system amounted to any action so far.
The following year, Molly reached out to Helly Faer once again for help. Helly's termination from Pharmagene prior to the second contact meant she would work with Molly. The two forged a partnership and founded the gang we know today. On the anniversary of Amanda's death, the idea was proposed to distribute Solance themselves. Helly provided a means to producing the medication illicitly and Molly focused on rallying members for the group.
Molly and her gang began to organize in an abandoned mine in a rural area of Corporal Unity, Calitonia. Cole, a retired construction manager, directed rennovations to the mine to accomodate the operation.
